This policy explains how TW RFQ, an independent B2B sourcing platform, handles information when you visit this website, send a message or submit a request for quotation (RFQ).
Information we collect
We collect the contact information you provide, such as your name, business email, phone or WhatsApp number and country. We also collect company information such as company name and website.
When you submit an RFQ, we collect the product, technical, quantity, delivery and commercial information you enter, your consent choices, and any drawings, photos or specification files you upload.
We may collect limited technical and source information needed to operate and protect the service, including a salted hash derived from an IP address, a shortened user-agent value, landing page, referrer and UTM campaign fields. We do not intend to retain your raw IP address for this purpose.
How we use information
We use the information to review your request, clarify specifications, identify potentially suitable Taiwan manufacturers, coordinate quotations and related sourcing support, communicate with you, protect the service from abuse and maintain business records.
We may also use limited aggregate information to understand whether the website and RFQ process are working. We do not use your confidential attachment as advertising content.
Sharing with manufacturers and service providers
When you give the required authorization, relevant RFQ information and files may be shared with selected manufacturers so they can evaluate the request and prepare a quotation. If you indicate that an NDA is required first, we will take that requirement into account before supplier review.
Phase 1 does not create a public or supplier-facing RFQ listing. Submissions remain in the private human-review workflow, and relevant materials are shared only for a selected quotation review under the authorization and confidentiality conditions you provide.
We may use service providers for hosting, storage, security, analytics and email delivery. They receive only the information needed to perform those services and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
The website may use first-party storage to retain the original landing and campaign source for a later RFQ or contact submission. Cloudflare Web Analytics may be enabled to measure website use with limited data. Google Analytics is loaded only when configured; if its use requires consent in your location, an appropriate consent mechanism should be applied before activation.
Security and confidentiality
RFQ attachments are stored in private object storage and are not intended to be available through public object URLs. Administrative access and file downloads are restricted through authenticated server routes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Do not submit third-party confidential material unless you are authorized to do so. Select the NDA option when a drawing requires an agreement before it can be reviewed with a manufacturer.
Retention
We retain RFQ, contact, consent and related operational records for as long as reasonably needed to process requests, maintain business and security records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Incomplete upload drafts and unassociated files may be removed after a short expiry period.
Email communications
We use your email address to confirm receipt, verify the address associated with an RFQ, request missing information and communicate about your sourcing request. These are service communications, not a promise that a quotation or supplier will be available.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted, subject to records we must retain for legal, security or legitimate business purposes. Use the Contact page and include enough information for us to locate the relevant request without sending sensitive files again.
